1. On-campus Accommodation

Dublin City University offers modern self catering student apartments located at the heart of each campus. As a part of the experience of staying on a university campus students can benefit from the useful facilities right on their doorstep!

Accommodation Locations & Room Types

International students are allocated rooms in Hampstead and College Park Apartments on the Glasnevin campus as well as in O’Donnell House and Purcell House on the All Hallows campus.

There are a variety of different rooms at each location,  where students can apply to stay in.

Accommodation Booking Procedures

On-campus accommodation at DCU is managed by DCU Campus Residences. Applications are made on-line and rooms are offered subject to availability. Allocations are lottery based and all applications are treated equally.

Lotteries for international students will be performed in the last week in July where all successful and unsuccessful applicants will receive an update. Unsuccessful applicants are encouraged to remain on the waiting list to be considered for all future room releases.

2. Off-campus Accommodation

There are also accommodation options available in the vicinity of DCU. Students can choose from private student apartments, renting a house with fellow-students or living with a host family. We advise students to use the websites below to explore other options.

3. Host Family Accommodation

This accommodation option allows you to practice your English language skills outside of the classroom and immerse yourself in Irish culture.

 

You will live as a member of an Irish family for the duration of your stay.
